18th Beijing International Auto Show Set For April Opening
Chinese And Global Brands To Showcase Mobility Innovation
Automotive enthusiasts and industry professionals alike can look forward to experiencing the latest advancements and trends shaping the future of mobility at the 18th edition of the Beijing International Automotive Exhibition (commonly known as Auto China), which will be held in the Chinese capital from April 24 to May 4, 2024.
The mega automotive industry trade event occurs at the expansive Shunyi Hall and the Chaoyang Hall of the New China International Exhibition Centre in Beijing.
Since its inception in 1990, the Beijing International Automobile Exhibition has emerged as a cornerstone of the global automotive industry. It aims to foster international collaboration and promote trade cooperation in the automotive sector.
Despite the disruption caused by the global COVID-19 pandemic, which led to the cancellation of the 17th edition of the show in 2022, the event remains a pivotal platform for leading Chinese and international automobile manufacturers.
The Organisers
The Automotive Industry Branch of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, China National Machinery International Cooperation, China International Exhibition Centre Group, and the China Society of Automotive Engineers are organising this year’s show.
Adsale Exhibition Services is the co-organiser of the show’s auto components and parts section, which will be held from April 25 to 27, 2024.
With a legacy spanning over three decades and held as a biennial event for the global automobile industry, the Beijing International Automobile Exhibition has garnered acclaim for its professionalism, authority, and significant contributions to the rapid development of China’s automotive sector and exhibition economy.
Under the theme ‘New Cars in the New Era,’ the 2024 Beijing International Automobile Exhibition will showcase the latest advancements in automotive technology and industry trends from more than 2,000 exhibitors in a total exhibition area spanning 230,000 square metres.
This year’s event, co-sponsored by the China Machinery Industry Federation, China National Machinery Industry Corporation, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, is projected to register more than 600,000 visitors.
EXEED Innovation
EXEED International, the premium SUV brand of renowned Chinese automaker Chery, will be a key exhibitor at the 2024 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition. At the show, the brand will launch its latest series for the Middle East, South America, Russia, and CIS markets.
In 2024, EXCEED is committed to producing ICE and NEV models, including the luxurious electric series EXLANTIX.

The 2024 Frankfurt International Electric Vehicle Exhibition, jointly hosted by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Automobile Industry Branch and Messe Frankfurt, is scheduled at the Frankfurt Exhibition Centre in Germany from September 10 to 14, 2024.
This historic event will mark the inaugural participation of a Chinese automobile industry organisation in organising a major international auto show.
It signifies a significant collaboration between Chinese and foreign entities to stage premier auto exhibitions in renowned global venues. This initiative also represents a substantial stride towards boosting the export of Chinese auto brands and bolstering their international presence.
