Acronis Launches Its Cutting-Edge XDR Solution For MSPs

A Breakthrough In The Cybersecurity Sector

Acronis has launched Acronis XDR, marking a significant expansion of its security solution portfolio. This latest addition is designed to transform the landscape of cybersecurity offerings, catering specifically to managed service providers’ (MSPs) needs.

Acronis XDR, short for Extended Detection and Response, aims to deliver exceptional protection against evolving cyber threats. It encompasses seamless integration, ease of management, and enhanced efficiency.

In the face of increasingly sophisticated cyberattacks fuelled by advancements in artificial intelligence AI) and the expansion of attack surfaces, the need for robust cybersecurity solutions has never been more critical.

Recognising this urgency, Acronis XDR emerges as a comprehensive solution, addressing the challenges MSPs face in delivering effective security services to their clients.

“Acronis makes a compelling entrance into XDR,” said Chris Kissel, Research Vice-President at IDC.

“They have extended their XDR stack mapping alerts to MITRE ATT&CK and offer cloud correlation detections. Importantly, their platform supports multitenancy, and the dashboard provides intuitive visualisations.”

MITRE ATT&CK stands for MITRE Adversarial Tactics, Techniques, and Common Knowledge (ATT&CK). The MITRE ATT&CK framework is a curated knowledge base and model for cyber adversary behaviour. It reflects the various phases of an adversary’s attack lifecycle and the platforms they target.

Key features and benefits of Acronis XDR include:

  • Native Integration: Acronis XDR integrates cybersecurity, data protection, and endpoint management, ensuring holistic protection and unmatched business continuity.
  • High Efficiency: The solution boasts high efficiency, with easy deployment, management, scalability, and delivery of security services. It leverages AI-based incident analysis and offers single-click responses for swift investigation and resolution.
  • Tailored for MSPs: Acronis XDR is tailored to the needs of MSPs, offering a single agent and console for all services and a customisable platform for integrating additional tools into a unified technology stack.

Gaidar Magdanurov, President at Acronis, said: “MSPS must provide reliable cybersecurity to customers with diverse IT environments and constrained budgets.

“Acronis XDR enables MSPs to offer top-notch security without the complexity and significant overhead of traditional non-integrated tools.”
