Atlanta Hawks Enter Cybersecurity Pact With Acronis

To bolster their cybersecurity infrastructure, the Atlanta Hawks have forged a strategic alliance with Acronis, a global leader in cyber protection.

The collaboration, supported by Responsive Technology Partners, aims to fortify the Hawks’ critical data and systems against potential threats. The partnership also signifies Acronis’ commitment to enhancing data security and performance across various sports and leagues.

Kim Romero, Executive Vice President and Chief Technology and Innovations Officer of Atlanta Hawks, highlighted the new partnership, stressing the importance of securing the organisation’s systems amidst ongoing innovation efforts.

Romero stated, “This partnership with Acronis adds another layer of security to our organisation as we seek a strong, multilayered approach.”

The Hawks will leverage Acronis’ advanced cyber protection technology to reinforce their digital infrastructure, ensuring robust security and data integrity.

Cyber Protection Strategies

Through Responsive Technology Partners, Acronis will collaborate closely with the Hawks to implement cyber protection strategies, provide training and support, and drive innovation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and data resilience.

Pat Hurley, Regional Vice President Americas at Acronis, highlighted the significance of integrating cyber protection solutions into professional basketball.

Hurley said: “With Responsive Technology Partners onboard, we’re ready to enhance cyber protection and operational efficiency, setting new standards of excellence in sports technology.”

As part of the partnership, Acronis branding will be featured on in-arena signage, and the ‘Defense’ chant will be sponsored at all Hawks regular-season home games. Additionally, the team will highlight a ‘defensive play of the week’ across its official social media channels.
