October 28, 2022

Brands For Less Group (BFL), the leading off-price retailer of style, homeware, interiors, and toys, is collaborating with ‘Friends of Cancer Patients’, a UAE-based non-profit organisation providing services across the country, to sponsor five breast cancer-affected patients by covering their medical expenses and other requirements. The initiative is in line with the company’s humanitarian goals to drive progress toward a more equitable future for the breast cancer community.

The collaboration comes as part of the group’s ongoing breast cancer awareness campaign which focuses on educating people about the disease, care, and prevention. Under this collaboration, BFL Group will donate AED 100,000 to ‘Friends of Cancer Patients’ to support these patients.

‘Friends of Cancer Patients’ is a non-profit organisation that has been successfully providing assistance to cancer patients and their families, helping them to overcome a plethora of challenges. The organisation was established in 1999 under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher Bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Wife of the Ruler of Sharjah, founder and Patron of the Friends of Cancer Patients, International Ambassador of the World Cancer Declaration for Union for International Cancer Control (UICC), International Ambassador for Childhood Cancer for UICC and Patron of the Global NCD Alliance Forum.
