Qatar Airways unveils free stopover packages for Expo 2023 Doha

Qatar Airways, the official strategic partner of the six-month Expo 2023 Doha, has begun offering complimentary stopover packages to all international travellers for the first A1 International Horticultural Exhibition to be held in the Middle East and Africa region.

A collaboration between the Bureau International Des Expositions (BIE) and the International Association for Horticultural Producers (AIPH), Expo Doha 2023 will feature pavilions from more than 80 countries, NGOs, and horticulture industry representatives.

The event will run from October 2, 2023, to March 28, 2024, and will offer attendees the opportunity to explore exquisitely landscaped gardens and experience cultures from around the world.

It will offer Qatar-based residents and international visitors rich experiences, from beautiful gardens and thought-provoking talks to arts and cuisine, as well as focus on innovative solutions to mitigate desertification around the Middle East and globally.

Expo 2023 Doha is expected to attract an estimated three million visitors from around the globe and will take place in the picturesque Al Bidda Park (pictured) in the Qatari capital city.

Accommodation packages

Qatar Airways’ Expo 2023 Doha stopover packages comprise standard (four-star), premium (five-star) and luxury (lavish five-star) accommodation packages.

Discover Qatar, the destination management company of Qatar Airways, is offering the stopover packages.

For the six-month duration of Expo 2023, Doha Qatar Airways passengers will see a horticultural video in-flight and receive a celebratory Expo 2023 Doha artwork and healthy meal options on select routes.

To celebrate the partnership, adorned with the Expo 2023 Doha emblem,

Qatar Airways will unveil a unique aircraft livery featuring the Expo 2023 Doha emblem next month to celebrate the carrier’s partnership with the Expo event.
