DSF TOGETHER WITH DUBAI DESTINATIONS LAUNCHES AN ENCHANTING DESERT ESCAPE

The iconic annual Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) is continuing its glittering showcase of the very best that Dubai has to offer with the launch of brand-new experiences that bring together world-class live entertainment, iconic unique-to-Dubai attractions, exceptional hospitality, a thriving gastronomy scene, wonderful cultural moments and stunning natural landscapes. Specially curated to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the festival, DSF together with Dubai Destinations will soon be opening the doors to The Uncommon x DSF at Al Marmoom tobring families and friends closer together to enjoy the beauty and tranquillity of the city’s desert landscape.

Organised by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE) from 20 December 2024 to 12 January 2025, The Uncommon x DSF will blend creativity, nature, and vibrant entertainment to offer something special for everyone. Open daily from 4pm to 1am, with free entry upon minimum spend of just AED 20.

Visitors will witness stunning lighting installations as part of Dubai Lights, designed by the artist duo of Vendel & De Wolf, illuminate Al Marmoom’s serene desert landscape. Cosy firepits with comfortable seating will provide the perfect setting to unwind under the starry sky. For families looking for thrilling fun, an exciting game zone and kids’ play area will ensure endless entertainment for the little ones, while adventurers can explore The Uncommon maze.

Weekends will bring an extra layer of magic with outdoor cinema nights and captivating live oud performances, filling the air with desert-inspired melodies and charm.

Foodies can indulge in a seasonal menu specially curated by Chef Sheikha Hesa Al Khalifa, or savour delicious flavours from BBQ Box with mouth-watering options from 31 December to 12 January.

We’ve carefully crafted a menu that brings unexpected twists to familiar dishes, making every bite a surprise worth savouring. This unforgettable experience will also add a touch of automotive excitement to the mix, featuring Defender & Bronco clubs meet-ups as part of the DSF Auto Season on 3 and 9 January 2025.
