Dubai Municipality announced its participation in the Beautyworld Middle East exhibition 2022, the largest event specialized in the world of beauty, hair and personal care in the region, which will be held at the Dubai World Trade Center from October 31 to November 2, amid the participation of a prominent group of the most important local, regional and international specialized companies, as it constitutes a unique opportunity for individuals and establishments concerned to learn about the latest developments in this field.
The Municipality’s participation in the exhibition comes in support of its pioneering role in ensuring health and safety of the community, as well as supporting commercial and investment activity in the Emirate of Dubai, by providing distinguished services that ensure the progress of the industry and consumer products and beauty centers trade in the emirate, in addition to raising awareness of the concerned establishments about the customer’s journey in the world of cosmetics and related products and services in accordance with the applicable regulations and specifications.
Smart Techniques for Consumer Product Evaluation
Dubai Municipality seeks to constantly develop its services to suit the various needs of customers, through smart technologies that include the evaluation and registration of consumer products easily and conveniently through the smart Dubai Municipality App, and the “Montaji” application service. It is also keen, through its advanced control systems, to ensure that establishments working in the field of cosmetic products adhere to the highest standards adopted to ensure the health and safety of society, by conforming the establishments’ products and services to the approved specifications.
Model Salon
The Municipality has started implementing the second phase of the Model Salon initiative, which aims to enhance the level of commitment of salons and beauty centers in the Emirate of Dubai through self-monitoring and raising the level of service quality, in addition to reducing the cost of establishments working in this field, creating a competitive environment among them to ensure the best hygiene practices and achieve highest levels of happiness for customers.
The second phase of the initiative includes achieving a number of criteria, including; providing the salon management system, such as advisory services, staff qualification certificates and the skills of workers in professional practices in the salon, and technical competence and qualification of workers for the safe use of the products registered in the Montaji app, which are intended for use by specialized technicians.
