Dubai Record Highest Ever Single Day Transactions Worth 1.02 Billion in a Day
Amid a sudden boom in property prices, Dubai recorded property deals worth AED 1.02 billion on Tuesday. What’s more, a day before, AED 2.2 billion worth of property deals were made according to Dubai’s Land Department (DLD) data.
A total of 395 sales transactions worth AED1.02 billion were made. Besides that, 86 mortgage deals of AED418.13 million, and 27 gift deals amounting to AED 37.78 million were also recorded by Dubai’s Land Department (DLD).
If we get more specific about these sales, 360 villas and apartments worth AED 673.91 million and 35 land plots worth AED 348.11 million were sold and purchased.
The mortgages consisted of a total of 67 villas and apartments worth AED 265.64 million, while 19 land plots were valued at AED 152.49 million.
The past few months have been quite promising for the real estate sector. And to capitalize on the opportunity, top real estate agents have closed down hundreds of property deals daily breaching billion marks week after week.
Another notable development this week was the sale of a patch of land for a record-breaking AED125m ($34 million), shattering several real estate records.
This historical transaction of a plot that measured 24,500sq ft. took place on Jumeirah Bay Island, Dubai.
