Flair Airlines moves to enhance its Corsia compliance

Partners with Azzera Celeste platform

Flair Airlines, recognised as Canada’s greenest and most affordable airline, is taking a significant step forward in its environmental efforts with a new partnership with Azzera.

The two entities will implement the Azzera Celeste platform to enhance the airline’s Corsia compliance and fleet emissions monitoring. The collaboration underscores Flair’s commitment to reducing its carbon footprint and setting new standards for sustainability in Canadian aviation.

The Azzera Celeste platform enables Flair to track flight emissions, monitor Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) usage, and utilise carbon credits to mitigate environmental impact. With its efficient API connection, Celeste significantly streamlines, complying with ICAO’s Carbon Offsetting and Reduction Scheme for International Aviation (Corsia), reducing what traditionally took months to just a few hours.

“At Flair, sustainability is not just a goal; it is woven into everything we do, from operations to network planning,” said Maciej Wilk, Interim CEO of Flair Airlines.

“As the greenest airline in Canada, emitting up to 28% less carbon per seat than our competitors, we are proud to be the first to share monthly emissions data with the public. Partnering with Azzera and leveraging the Celeste platform helps us take concrete steps towards a greener future,” Wilk added.

“We are excited to support Flair Airlines on their journey to net zero,” said Puja Mahajan, CEO and Founder of Azzera. “The Celeste platform is a game-changer, allowing Flair to lead by example with measurable, tech-driven solutions that help reduce aviation’s carbon footprint.”

Flair is among the first Canadian carriers to adopt Celeste, simplifying emissions management by automating compliance tasks. This allows Flair’s sustainability team more time to focus on other initiatives.

Azzera, a net zero transition solutions provider, believes in making emissions management simple and accessible. Its Celeste platform offers an all-in-one solution for data validation, compliance reporting, and access to carbon credits, helping airlines transition to a sustainable future.

With a growing fleet of Boeing 737s, Flair is expanding its reach to more than 35 destinations across Canada, the US, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, and Jamaica.
