Human Mobile Devices (HMD) and FC Barcelona have teamed up to introduce two new devices: the HMD Barça 3210, a phone built for uninterrupted game time, and the HMD Barça Fusion, a Collector’s Edition smartphone featuring an outfit engraved with signatures from Barça’s first team players. These stylish devices are designed to help fans focus on the beautiful game by minimizing digital distractions.
The HMD Barça 3210 is a reimagined classic, free from social media apps, allowing fans to stay present during matches. It comes preloaded with 12 bespoke FC Barcelona wallpapers and a user interface with a distinct Barça feel. The device also includes a special version of Snake, where players collect major trophies on the FC Barcelona pitch while avoiding red and yellow cards. Additional features include hidden messages from players like Lewandowski, Gavi, Eric, Fermín, and Iñigo, a long-lasting battery capable of supporting extended conversations, and IP54 splash protection, making it an ideal matchday companion.
Building on the success of the reintroduced 3210 for its 25th anniversary, HMD continues to cater to the growing trend of consumers seeking retro products. Despite a declining overall feature phone market, HMD has gained market share for two consecutive years, achieving double-digit growth in 2024 with a 10% increase in feature phone sales. As more individuals turn to “dumbphones” to unplug and escape digital noise, HMD leads this movement, offering devices that encourage living in the moment.
The HMD Barça Fusion smartphone comes with the HMD Fusion Smart Outfit, a collector’s item engraved with signatures from 11 FC Barcelona players, including Marc-André ter Stegen, Robert Lewandowski, Jules Koundé, Raphinha, Dani Olmo, Pedri, Gavi, Fermín Lopez, Pau Cubarsí, Marc Casadó, and Lamine Yamal. These signatures glow in the dark when exposed to UV light. The device itself is preloaded with special Barça visuals, themed sounds, greetings from top players, and a selection of alarm sounds featuring messages from players such as Lewandowski, De Jong, Eric García, Fermín, Gavi, and Iñígo Martínez. It also includes the FC Barcelona app.
The customizable HMD Barça Fusion smartphone features a durable case and a two-way connector, allowing users to add different smart Fusion outfits that change the device’s appearance and functionality. Options include the Flashy Outfit, which provides a ring light for optimal selfies; and the Gaming Outfit, transforming the phone into a console complete with joysticks and the Rugged Outfit for enhanced protection.
