IDP Education’s Study Abroad Expo in UAE this September
IDP Education, a world leader in international education services, is set to launch the ‘IDP UAE Study Abroad Expo’ in the UAE.
The Expo will provide students and their parents with all the information required to apply to study at a university in six destination countries.
The Expo will be held at the InterContinental Abu Dhabi in Abu Dhabi on September 23, 2023, before moving to the Grand Hyatt Dubai Convention Centre in Dubai on September 24.
Imad Chaoui, Regional Director, IDP Education, MEA, EU and CIS, said the Expo comes to the UAE due to IDP’s rich history in the region, spanning more than five decades.
“As a global leader in international education services, our innovative use of digital technology enables our global network of trusted local counsellors to provide insight and ensure successful results for our students and partners.
“We have helped more than 700,000 students, many of whom have come from the UAE, to study in quality courses around the world where they can achieve their lifelong learning and career aspirations,” Chaoui added.
Prestigious universities from across the globe will be participating in the IDP UAE Study Abroad Expo, including the University of Manchester, the University of Birmingham and the University of Warwick from the UK, Dalhousie University and the University of Alberta from Canada, Australian National University, University of Melbourne and Monash University from Australia and University College Dublin and University of Galway from Ireland.
These universities come from a list of more than 110 who will be present at the Expo and be available for students to consult on their study abroad goals.
Rashi Bhattacharya, Area Director, UAW, Oman, Qatar, Turkey and Kazakhstan, said that the Expo is an excellent platform for students who want to study abroad.
“This expo is an end-to-end process where the students and parents are educated and informed about their choices to secure a bright future. Our IDP counsellors will also be on the ground to provide guidance and help international students gain admission to educational institutions in central English-speaking countries through personalised course advice, course application submission and pre-departure guidance.
“Studying abroad is a uniquely immersive experience that helps the student gain confidence living among new people, to discover a new culture and world apart from learning the selected curriculum. Studying abroad has multiple benefits of learning under well-trained educators and beyond the regular classroom format.
“Students are trained to change their thinking apart from developing their language skills. At the end of a successful term completion, there is an international exposure and global job prospects to choose from depending on the student’s area of interest,” added Bhattacharya.
