LEGOLAND® DUBAI CELEBRATES HOLIDAY SEASON WITH UNDERPRIVILEGED STUDENTS AS PART OF CSR INITIATIVE

Dubai, UAE – January 2023: Continuing its CSR initiatives and giving back to the community, LEGOLAND® Dubai Resort has invited 25 Bangladeshi students – from underprivileged backgrounds, to celebrate the holiday season at LEGOLAND Dubai theme park’s Festive Bricktacular celebrations, taking place until 8. January 2023.

The students are from underdeveloped urban areas of Dhaka, Bangladesh, and have received education support throughout their lives, from global charities. Now in Dubai for special scholarship programs or internship opportunities on a gap-year to University, LEGOLAND® took the opportunity to show them some of the many family-friendly activities available.

LEGOLAND Dubai Resort invited 25 of these students, aged 5 – 20 years old to spend a day at LEGOLAND Dubai theme park, joining its Festive Bricktacular celebrations and taking part in loads of family-friendly activities, including meeting LEGO Santa, Holly Jolly Holiday Party and take selfies at the 10-metre-high LEGO DUPLO® festive tree. The students were also invited to enjoy more than 40 attractions and rides in five different lands in the park – which was the highlight for most of them, being their first time ever to experience a theme park.

This CSR initiative is one of several collaborations to take place between LEGOLAND Dubai Resort and local as well as regional and international organisations, as part of its commitment to giving back to the community.
