LiveWell with Nakheel hosts fourth health and wellness talk marking Dubai Fitness Challenge

Dubai, 27 October 2022: LiveWell with Nakheel, a health and wellness initiative across Nakheel’s communities in Dubai, has announced its fourth community event. Coinciding with the start of Dubai Fitness Challenge on 29th October, LiveWell will welcome back Prof. Dr. Harald Stossier, the founder of Modern Mayr Medicine, to discuss simple lifestyle rhythms to adopt to achieve healthy longevity, nutrition, and wellness.

The initiative ties in with Nakheel’s commitment to building happiness and prosperity for citizens, residents and visitors in Dubai. Community initiatives like LiveWell with Nakheel aim to enhance the quality of life of those visiting and living in Nakheel’s communities.

Kicking off the LiveWell event, a sunrise yoga session by the beach will be held to inspire attendees to create a movement-focused mindset and seek healthy, active lifestyles followed by a wellness inspired breakfast at Myrra restaurant on The Palm, setting the mood for an interactive talk on Good Health with LiveWell and Wellevate Life founder, Irina Sharma.

Irina Sharma and Dr. Stossier will be joined by Maruf Azimov who has been invited to Dubai by Wellevate Life to speak on their campaign, Breast Cancer has NO Gender. In a continuous effort to also improve employee wellbeing, Nakheel will also be hosting the speakers to shed some light on workplace wellness.

Francis Giani, Chief Community Management Officer at Nakheel, said: “Fostering a healthy and happy community is a core value we strive to achieve at Nakheel through our on-going LiveWell with Nakheel initiative. We are proud to offer interactive, educational sessions to encourage our residents to take up healthy lifestyle choices. We look forward to welcoming back Dr. Harald to give his valuable insight to our community, to enhance their overall wellbeing and quality of life. The wellbeing of our communities is our top priority.”

Prof. Dr. Harald Stossier, Founder of Modern Mayr Medicine, said “As most people only begin to look after their health when they have a scare and are forced to drastically stem their intake of fast food and begin exercising, the LiveWell with Nakheel initiative has been created to help the community make positive lifestyle changes and choices. It’s a pleasure to come back to Dubai for Nakheel and speak on how we can achieve good health and disease prevention. I look forward to seeing everyone on the 29th.”

Irina Sharma, LiveWell and Wellevate Life Founder, said: “We have lined up another great community session this month. I am honoured to welcome back Dr. Stossier and to be joined by Maruf Azimov, who will be sharing his brave story as a male breast cancer patient. We have put deliberate effort, thought, and planning into our LiveWell with Nakheel community wellbeing platform, with the focus on helping build a healthier community and collective will.”

LiveWell with Nakheel is a continuation of Nakheel Community Management’s commitment focusing on ‘building happiness and prosperity’. The initiative was launched to promote holistic wellbeing, and position LiveWell with Nakheel as a leading Urban Wellness haven. The initiative aims to offer a chance to experience wellbeing as a community and enjoy the interactive activities.

The LiveWell with Nakheel event will be held on Saturday 29th October, 0900-1100. The morning yoga session is 0730 – 0830. The event is free but pre-registration is essential, please visit https://livewell.nakheelcommunities.com/ for more information and follow @nakheelcommunities on social media to stay updated on the event.
