Military Committee reviews preparations for Dubai Airshow 2023

Global aerospace sector meets in Dubai (November 13-17, 2023)

The UAE Military Committee tasked with organising and managing certain aspects of the Dubai Airshow 2023 has met to plan operations for the airshow from November 13-17, 2023, at Dubai World Central (DWC), Dubai Airshow Site.

UAE Major General Staff Dr Mubarak bin Ghafan Al Jabri, Executive Director of the Military Committee, led a meeting at DWC.

The meeting’s agenda focused on reviewing preparatory work for the upcoming airshow in line with a prior approved timeline and plan.

The Committee members also discussed coordination efforts with all relevant parties and key stakeholders to ensure the event’s success.

18th bi-annual edition

The 18th edition of the Dubai Airshow will have new features, including a conference agenda covering key topics, including the future of air travel and passenger experience and the UAE Ministry of Defence’s UAE Safety and Effectiveness Conference.

Dubai Airshow 2023 will also host the largest space pavilion in its history, showcasing the latest technologies and solutions in the sector to drive innovation and sustainability in the aerospace industry.

Dubai Airshow 2023 will see the participation of global leaders and innovators discussing and identifying future trends and exploring business opportunities.

The airshow will also highlight topics such as space technologies, localisation efforts, and the pivotal role of start-ups in accelerating sustainable development across the aerospace industry.

Organised by Tarsus F&E Middle East, the Dubai Airshow is one of the world’s largest civilian and military airshows.

The bi-annual event connects the entire aerospace industry, including commercial and business aviation, defence and military, space, emerging technology, start-ups, aircraft interiors, air traffic management, maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO), and air cargo.

Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Dubai Airports, Dubai Aviation Engineering Projects, and the UAE Armed Forces support Dubai Airshow 2023.
