First 4G/5G Femtocell solution in MEA

Nokia and Zain KSA have entered a strategic partnership to implement the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region’s first 4G/5G Femtocell solution. This innovative collaboration aims to bridge mobile coverage gaps and enhance connectivity for enterprise customers across Saudi Arabia.

The solution, which deploys 4G and 5G Smart Nodes, is designed to provide enhanced indoor coverage and robust connectivity for enterprise users. It incorporates a full suite of Nokia’s advanced products and services, including the IP Security Gateway, Femto Manager, and End-to-End Delivery services.

Nokia’s industry-leading technology underpins the comprehensive offering and ensures seamless integration with Zain KSA’s network infrastructure.

A key feature of the solution is its plug-and-play setup, which allows for quick and easy installation and minimises reliance on customer infrastructure. This makes the solution cost-effective and delivers impressive coverage results, enhancing the customer experience.

The initiative will empower Zain KSA’s enterprise customers by providing secure, high-performance connectivity, which is essential for supporting business-critical applications and fostering innovation.
