Pure Storage to showcase bouquet of innovations that IT industry needs
Including an industry-first storage platform
Pure Storage, a global leader in data storage technologies, will demonstrate its industry-first platform and cutting-edge AI innovations at GITEX Global 2024, which will occur at the Dubai World Trade Centre from October 14 to 18.
The company will highlight its Evergreen architecture to address IT leaders’ critical storage challenges. This unique architecture offers organisations a simple, energy-efficient, and consistent storage platform delivered as a service. It is designed to enhance agility and reduce risk, which are crucial factors for businesses looking to support AI initiatives and ensure long-term success.
Among the Pure Storage innovations to be showcased from October 14 to 18 will be the integration of Pure Fusion, the company’s advanced storage fleet management solution, into the Purity operating system.
Additionally, Pure Storage will introduce the first AI copilot for storage management. This tool leverages insights from thousands of deployed arrays, enabling IT teams to streamline storage operations and tackle complexities effectively.
In response to the growing demand for reliable storage solutions, Pure Storage will also present advanced service level agreements that ensure high performance for GPU workloads, including AI training and high-performance computing.
Bespoke solution
The Evergreen//One model is the only genuinely outcome-oriented Storage-as-a-Service (STaaS) offering that can provide customers with unprecedented reliability and sustainability.
Omar Akar, Regional VP for CEE & META at Pure Storage, commented on the challenges faced by today’s businesses: “With the rapid pace of technological advancement and the increasing demands for AI integration, it is no surprise that many organisations are struggling. Pure Storage is committed to setting the benchmark for what a storage platform should deliver.”
In addition to showcasing its latest innovations at GITEX Global 2024 in Hall 6, Stand C40, Pure Storage plans to launch its new 150TB DirectFlash Modules later this year. This development will allow organisations to future-proof their infrastructure and manage large data sets effectively, addressing some of the most pressing challenges in AI.
A survey conducted by Pure Storage found that 98% of CIOs and IT decision-makers believe their infrastructure urgently needs improvement to meet AI’s demands. Moreover, 81% indicated that AI-generated data is expected to outgrow their current data centres, highlighting the need for a robust, high-performance, and cyber-resilient storage infrastructure.
As the data industry evolves, Pure Storage continues to lead with a unified data storage platform that promises over ten times the reliability while significantly reducing power, space, cooling, and labour costs compared to competitors.
