SalamAir Flies From Muscat To Baku And Almaty From June 2024
Introductory Fares On Offer
SalamAir, Oman’s premier budget carrier, will relaunch its flights from Oman to two summer destinations: Baku in Azerbaijan and Almaty in Kazakhstan.
This decision underscores the airline’s dedication to fulfilling its customers’ evolving travel preferences, which has resulted in elevated travel demand, primarily from Oman-based residents.
The revival of the two air routes, now offered with introductory fares, is primarily driven by last year’s record-breaking demand for Baku and Almaty’s unique and culturally rich experiences.
Both destinations are renowned for their compelling blend of cultural heritage and natural beauty, alongside many attractions appealing to various interests.
The decision is also bolstered by impressive seat occupancy rates from the previous year, with Baku and Almaty achieving 85% and 87%, respectively.
This strong performance has prompted SalamAir to prioritise these routes, enabling travellers to explore these cities’ distinct charm and cultural depth again.
Two Weekly Flights
SalamAir will operate two weekly flights to each city from Muscat, starting on June 16, 2024, to Baku and on June 18, 2024, to Almaty.
Captain Ahmed Al Shidhani, Acting CEO of SalamAir, expressed enthusiasm about the routes’ return and attributed the decision to customer demand.
“The outstanding customer feedback has inspired us to reintroduce these exceptional summer destinations. We anticipate that travellers will continue to be enthralled by Baku and Almaty’s unique offerings.”
