Malaysia’s Sky Blue Media wins OOH concession for Dubai’s public buses
5-year contract includes public bus facilities in Dubai emirate
Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has signed a strategic agreement with Sky Blue Media, granting the Malaysia-based company the exclusive rights to manage all out-of-home (OOH) advertising for Dubai RTA’s public bus fleet and public bus facilities in Dubai emirate for five years.
Under the undisclosed sum agreement signed in Dubai earlier this week, Sky Blue Media will undertake the planning, design, operation, and marketing of all advertising spaces across all of Dubai RTA’s public bus facilities in Dubai.
The contract covers 1,400 public buses, 22 bus stations, 741 bus stands, and 523 dedicated advertising spots within bus facilities across Dubai emirate.
Huge exposure
Ahmed Bahrozyan, Public Transport Agency CEO at Dubai RTA, said: “This strategic agreement offers long-term investment opportunities for businesses to associate their brands with Dubai’s progressive growth. Moreover, [Dubai] public bus station facilities provide a solid promotional platform, thanks to the influx of hundreds of thousands of riders every day.
“Dubai RTA’s public bus facilities and fleet constitute highly advanced advertising platforms for local and international companies and entities looking to promote and market their products, services, and solutions across diverse economic and commercial sectors,” Bahrozyan added.

The Kuala Lumper-headquartered company manages all aspects of advertising, including campaign planning, designs for implementation, and campaign follow-up.
