Tara Rose Unveils Flagship Location in Al Quoz, Now the Brand’s Fifth UAE Salon
Tara Rose Salon, one of the region’s leading hair and beauty chains, opened their doors to its flagship facility in Dubai’s Al Quoz district on September 27th. The expansive, two-storey, 6,300 sq ft space combines a female salon offering Tara Rose’s award-winning attention to detail, and the brand new men’s barbershop concept – Fratelli. It is also home to an education and training academy, plus a podcast and photography studio.
This unique destination is founder Tara Rose Kidd’s fifth salon in the UAE, with two in Abu Dhabi, one in Dubai’s Motor City, and the co-owned Blowout Bar on Palm Jumeirah’s Golden Mile. The flagship salon is the most ambitious yet, as it transcends the traditional setup to become an all-encompassing hair, beauty and creative space. Eight stylists, four barbers, and a team of beauticians have been handpicked to deliver the most comprehensive experience for everyone.
Tara’s ethos focuses on inclusion and excellence, principles embodied in the new salon. It is somewhere everybody, from clients to industry professionals, are welcome with everything they need under one roof. In addition to the female salon, here’s a look at what else is inside…
Fratelli
Fratelli is an exciting new addition to the male grooming scene, headed up by General Manager Jac Ludlow. Backed by years of international experience as an entrepreneur, stylist, and educator, Ludlow’s concept goes beyond hairdressing, creating a community, ‘where style meets brotherhood.’ Fratelli’s barbers will offer personalised advice for the individual – not only concentrating on hair and beards, but their complete image. Clients will also leave with practical tips, giving them the knowledge and confidence to maintain their style at home. It’s a place where men can come to enjoy open, friendly conversation and leave looking and feeling incredible.
Industry-Leading Education and Training Academy
The Tara Rose Academy is a hub offering exceptional educational experiences for the region’s hair and beauty professionals. The goal is to contribute to the collective growth of the beauty industry by providing a platform for professionals to learn, develop, and take valuable skills back to their businesses.
Podcast and photography studio
One of the standout features of the salon is the in-house podcast studio. Tara’s team will interview experts and educators from the beauty industry, and the studio will also be available for other creatives to rent for podcast recording or photoshoots.
