UAEU organizes high school students’ visits to the campus titled “Come Closer “

The United Arab Emirates University, represented by the Student Affairs Sector, organized the “Come Closer” 4-day-event for high school students. The students and their parents participated in the event to learn about the most important facilities and services provided by the university.

Prof. Ayesha Salem Al Dhaheri, Associate Provost for Student Affairs, said that the university administration every year organizes such an event, which targets high school graduates and their parents. The university organizes tours and visits to the university facilities to introduce them to university programs and facilities, and to inform them about the educational opportunities, academic majors, and infrastructure, including facilities, services, classrooms, laboratories, and activity centers, in addition to housing facilities and restaurants, and all other services to ensure an ideal campus life for all students.

She added: The university administration also provides the opportunity for all students, whether they chose the UAE University as a first option or chose other academic institutions, as the opportunity is still available for everyone to join the UAE University as a leading national university – and the University of the Future – because of its reputation and prestigious academic position within the higher education system in the country. The university contributes to providing the highest standards of academic education, for its courses and nine colleges, with flexible admission policies that allow students to achieve their desires, consider their abilities and competencies, and provide important disciplines that meet the requirements of national development projects in the labor market, especially that all academic programs are accredited by international academic accreditation institutions.

She explained that the university chose the title “Come Closer ” for providing advice and guidance in making appropriate decisions to choose colleges that meet the wishes of students and parents. The parents accompanied the students on field tours that included all campus facilities, in addition to the opportunity to meet with the staff and faculty members, to inquire about all related matters, and to learn about the rules, regulations, conditions, colleges and available majors.
