Yango Robotics to unveil AI-powered warehouse automation at GITEX
Technologies that emulate human-like capabilities
Yango Robotics will showcase its latest AI-driven warehouse automation solutions innovations at GITEX Global 2024, which will be held at the Dubai World Trade Centre from October 14 to 18.
Yango Robotics transforms warehouse optimisation through autonomous robotic piece-picking and mobile robots powered by advanced artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML).
Visitors to GITEX 2024 will have the opportunity to explore how Yango Robotics’ technology can be customised to meet specific needs. Live demonstrations of state-of-the-art computer vision technology designed to boost productivity in warehouse environments will be available at the Yango Group stand, Stand H3-B20, Hall 3.
In particular, Yango Robotics will present a suite of advanced, intuitive robotic technologies that emulate human-like capabilities and seamlessly integrate into various operational settings.
These innovations aim to enhance productivity, reduce operational costs, and improve overall efficiency across industries such as warehousing, e-commerce, and logistics in the MENA region.
Highlighted technologies
The company’s picker and inventory tracking robots will be among the highlighted technologies. These solutions are engineered to improve object handling and monitoring in dynamic warehouse environments, addressing the rising demand for automation solutions in the sector.
The UAE’s robotics market is experiencing robust growth. Projections indicate a market volume of approximately $360.10 million by 2029 and a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 11.02%.
This upward trajectory reflects a broader regional trend, with the Middle East robotics market expected to reach $2.84 billion by 2029, showcasing a CAGR of 11.74%. The increasing adoption of robotic solutions is becoming essential for businesses aiming to tackle labour shortages, enhance fulfilment quality and safety, optimise space utilisation, and increase throughput.
Alexei Filippov, Head of Global Business Development at Yango Robotics, expressed enthusiasm about automation’s potential to revolutionise warehouses and logistics.
“Many businesses still rely on manual processes, leading to slow order fulfilment, higher costs, and increased safety risks. Our robotics solutions are game-changers that work collaboratively with humans to resolve these issues, improving operational efficiency, enhancing inventory accuracy, and minimising labour-intensive tasks that can result in workplace injuries.
“As the global market increasingly shifts towards automation, this technology is becoming necessary for businesses to remain competitive in the modern supply chain,” Filippov stated.
