Explore Dubai City with new hop-on-hop-off bus service
All-day trip costs AED35
Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is launching a hop-on-hop-off bus service to offer UAE residents and visitors an immersive way to explore Dubai City’s landmarks and attractions.
Dubai’s RTA will operate the new service starting in September 2024.
The service, featuring buses with a striking livery, will operate daily from 10am to 10pm, running every 60 minutes. The complete circuit, covering eight landmarks, will take approximately two hours. Tickets will be priced at AED35 per person and valid for the entire day, allowing unlimited hop-on-hop-off access.
The hop-on-hop-off bus service will integrate with Dubai’s public transport network, including the Dubai Metro, Dubai Tram, marine transport, and public buses.
Starting from Dubai Mall, the hop-on-hop-off bus service will offer a convenient way to visit eight of Dubai City’s major attractions.
The route will cover the Dubai Frame, Heritage Village, Museum of the Future, Gold Souk, Dubai Mall, La Mer Beach, Jumeirah Mosque, and City Walk.
Passengers can disembark at nine city stops, including the Al Ghubaiba metro, bus, and marine transport station.
Ahmed Bahrozyan, CEO of Dubai’s RTA’s Public Transport Agency, underscored the initiative’s significance in promoting Dubai’s tourism sector.
He said, “Tourism is crucial to Dubai’s economic growth and GDP. The hop-on-hop-off bus aligns with our commitment to enhancing the emirate’s appeal, given the influx of tourists, businesspeople, and investors drawn to our city’s safety, world-class services, and robust infrastructure. The hop-on-hop-off bus invites everyone to ‘Discover Dubai, One Stop at a Time.’
The new hop-on-hop-off bus initiative is expected to enrich the experience for UAE residents and tourists. It will showcase Dubai’s vibrant cultural and architectural landmarks while promoting its comprehensive public transportation system.
