Dodo Pizza UAE to Provide over 3000 Iftar boxes this Ramadan
Dodo Pizza UAE launched its charitable Ramadan Campaign, dedicated to the holy month of Ramadan – a season for acts of kindness and community support. Staying true to its values, the company pledges to donate an Iftar box (consisting of a unique wrap Dodster, date, and water) to its delivery drivers. Many work tirelessly to bring meals to families gathering for Iftar, often breaking their fast on the go. During this busy time, when the demand for food delivery surges, providing drivers with a proper meal helps them stay energised and focused, allowing them to continue their work safely and efficiently.
To encourage customers to support the initiative, a limited-edition Moon Pizza was created specially for Ramadan. This pizza embodies the spirit of generosity and sharing. The choice of pizza for this special edition was no coincidence — research conducted by Dodo in collaboration with YouGov reveals that pizza is the most favoured fast food category in the UAE, with 40% of consumers opting for it.
Furthermore, pizza maintains consistent demand across all age groups, exhibiting only a 3% variation. It remains the top choice for married couples with children, making it a universally loved and inclusive option for this special edition. It is equally loved by Emiratis (41%), Asians (41%), and Arab expatriates (43%), making it a universally appealing choice. Additionally, for working professionals, pizza is one of the most frequently ordered meals, bolstering its reputation as a go-to comfort food. Considering its widespread popularity and ability to unite people, Moon Pizza was the perfect choice for Ramadan. The proceeds from the sale will also go to support delivery drivers: for every Moon Pizza sold, one Iftar box will be donated.
As a gesture of gratitude for the kindness and support, every client who purchases a Moon Pizza can win a real Star. The Star’s real name will be registered in the European commercial star registry. Weekly draws will be held throughout Ramadan, offering opportunities to win one of 4 stars. All Moon Pizza buyers will also receive a complimentary Stargazing Guide featuring top locations in the UAE, such as the Lahbab Desert or Hatta Mountains.
This initiative is part of Dodo Pizza’s annual Ramadan campaign, which made an impactful debut last year. In 2024, 703 Iftar boxes were distributed while the company had just one location. With eleven pizzerias across Dubai, Dodo Pizza aims to provide over 3000 Iftar boxes for delivery drivers, underscoring the brand’s rapid expansion and steadfast commitment.

Dodo Pizza UAE also encourages other F&B businesses to support delivery drivers during the holy month by offering refreshments or meals at Iftar time. Ramadan sees a significant rise in food delivery, with at least 29% of Emiratis planning to utilise food delivery services during this period. This surge in demand places additional pressure on delivery drivers, who must manage higher volumes of orders while adhering to the scheduling challenges posed by fasting hours. Supporting them not only aids in their well-being but also enhances service efficiency and customer satisfaction during this vital period.
