Dubai, UAE — January 2026 — Dubai has expanded its Dubai Traders initiative into the business-to-business digital arena through a strategic partnership with Tradeling, the MENA region’s largest B2B digital marketplace.

The collaboration, formed between the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, Dubai Chambers, and the Tradeling platform, aims to accelerate the digital transition for local SMEs, manufacturers, and exporters.

Signed in the presence of senior officials including Helal Saeed Almarri, Director-General of DET, the agreement marks a new phase for the Dubai Traders program.

The initiative, a cornerstone of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, now extends its support beyond consumer e-commerce to tackle digital wholesale, addressing a critical enablement gap for small and medium enterprises.

The partnership provides participants with a comprehensive suite of incentives designed to lower barriers to digital B2B trade.

Benefits include reduced platform commissions and fulfilment fees, discounted advertising, dedicated onboarding support, and advanced analytics tools. Emirati sellers will receive enhanced, tailored support including custom growth roadmaps and prioritised platform placement.

Hadi Badri, CEO of the Dubai Economic Development Corporation, stated the partnership empowers SMEs to “harness the benefits and seize the opportunities of a digitally driven economy” and strengthens Dubai’s role as a leading destination for entrepreneurship.

Alastair Croker, CEO of Tradeling, emphasized the collaboration advances Dubai’s vision for a “globally competitive, digitally enabled business environment.”

Officials noted that the move builds on the strong momentum from earlier partnerships with B2C platforms, now unlocking new wholesale and institutional pathways for Dubai-based businesses to scale regionally and internationally.
