The Abu Dhabi Emergencies, Crises and Disasters Management Team has held an emergency online coordination meeting to assess the impact of ongoing regional developments and ensure the emirate’s continued preparedness.
The session was chaired by Major General Ahmed Saif bin Zaitoon Al Muhairi, Commander-in-Chief of Abu Dhabi Police and Head of the Team, and brought together senior officials from key entities to review potential scenarios and response measures.
Comprehensive Risk Review
During the meeting, members examined a detailed assessment of the evolving situation and discussed possible implications across critical sectors. Preparedness levels were reviewed, response strategies evaluated, and business continuity frameworks assessed to ensure seamless operations.
Authorities confirmed that round-the-clock monitoring systems have been activated, alongside enhanced coordination between strategic partners. The objective is to enable swift information sharing and timely decision-making in line with global best practices.
Safeguarding Essential Services
The Team reaffirmed that Abu Dhabi’s emergency management framework operates through proactive, multi-source risk analysis. Operational plans are continuously updated to reflect emerging developments, ensuring uninterrupted delivery of essential services.

“The emergency and crisis management system in Abu Dhabi operates in accordance with approved plans and carefully developed scenarios,” he said. “Full readiness across relevant authorities has been confirmed, ensuring the protection of lives and property while maintaining the continuity of development and essential services.”
He added that early preparedness, clearly defined roles, and ongoing investment in both human and technological capabilities form the backbone of the emirate’s resilience strategy.
