Dubai, UAE — May 2026 — ADNOC Distribution has announced a strategic partnership with Americana Restaurants International PLC to expand food and beverage offerings across its service station network in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt.
Under the agreement, up to 200 quick-service restaurants representing 12 prominent global brands operated by Americana Restaurants will be opened across ADNOC Distribution’s service stations, broadening food choices for customers during their daily commutes and travel stops.
The partnership brings together ADNOC Distribution’s existing station network and customer base with Americana Restaurants’ portfolio of leading brands and operational expertise, aiming to deliver integrated, high-quality dining experiences at everyday mobility and retail destinations.
Accelerating non-fuel retail growth
According to the Emirates News Agency, the deal forms part of ADNOC Distribution’s broader strategy to accelerate growth in its non-fuel retail segment.
The company has been steadily expanding its service station offerings to include food and beverage, electric vehicle charging, car care, and lifestyle services in response to evolving customer expectations. Its non-fuel retail segment recorded gross profit growth of more than 14 percent year-on-year and transaction volume growth exceeding 9 percent during 2025.
The partnership will also support the continued rollout of The Hub by ADNOC, the company’s large-scale, modern retail concept that integrates traditional fueling, EV charging, car care, dining, and lifestyle offerings under one roof.
The Hub is set to expand to 30 locations across the UAE by 2030, with these destinations expected to contribute EBITDA of up to $30 million annually by that year. Americana-operated brands will be integrated into multiple Hub locations.
Executives weigh in
Mohamed Al Abbar, chairman of Americana Restaurants PLC, said the collaboration reflects the company’s ambition to extend its brand portfolio into high-traffic consumer touchpoints, adding that the partnership enables Americana to transform fuel stations and mobility hubs into vibrant, full-service destinations where customers can enjoy trusted brands and premium hospitality experiences on the go.
Badr Saeed Al-Lamki, CEO of ADNOC Distribution, described the partnership as a further step in the company’s efforts to enhance customer convenience and drive non-fuel retail growth across the region.
He added that the initiative supports ADNOC Distribution’s goal of doubling non-fuel retail transactions by 2030, while generating long-term value for shareholders and the communities it serves.

Americana Restaurants currently operates 2,749 restaurants as of March 31, 2026, and recorded revenues of $2.5 billion in 2025, a year-on-year increase of 14.2 percent.
