Abu Dhabi to get solar panel manufacturing plant
$15-million facility set for KEZAD
Abundance Solar Panel Industries has announced plans to establish a state-of-the-art solar panel manufacturing facility in Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi (KEZAD) in Abu Dhabi emirate in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The $15 million investment will see the development of a 27,000-square-metre plant in KEZAD Area A – Al Ma’mourah. This will boost the UAE’s green energy sector and set it to become a cornerstone in the Middle East region’s renewable energy landscape.
The new facility will focus on producing solar panels and integrated photovoltaic modules to support businesses across various industries in their transition to energy-efficient operations.
This move underscores KEZAD Group’s commitment to fostering advanced, sustainable sectors and aligns with AD Ports Group’s strategic vision to lead the UAE’s green agenda and achieve net-zero emissions.
