Akasa Air begins daily flights from Mumbai to Abu Dhabi
Boosting connectivity between the 2 cities
The first passenger flight operated by Akasa Air between Mumbi and Abu Dhabi landed at Zayed International Airport (AUH) in the UAE capital on July 11, 2024, marking a significant milestone in air travel connectivity between the UAE and India.
Akasa Air’s daily service between the two cities is poised to cater to the growing demand for travel between Mumbai and Abu Dhabi, enhancing tourism and trade links.
The addition of Akasa Air expands AUH’s network of air routes serviced by 29 airlines spanning 126 destinations in 64 countries.
Elena Sorlini, Managing Director and CEO at Abu Dhabi Airports, operator of AUH, said: “Akasa Air’s daily flights to Mumbai represent a significant enhancement of our airport’s connectivity.
