Akasa Air launches Mumbai-Kuwait City flights from August 23, 2024

Kuwait is the carrier’s fifth global destination

Akasa Air will launch its new direct passenger flights from Mumbai to Kuwait City on August 23, 2024. This will make Kuwait the Indian carrier’s fifth international destination from India.

This new daily route underscores Akasa Air’s commitment to expanding its international network and enhancing connectivity between India and the Middle East.

The flight schedule for the new route is as follows (all timings are local at departure and arrival destinations):

  • Flight QP 571: Departs Mumbai at 19:50hrs, arriving in Kuwait City at 22:00hrs.
  • Flight QP 572: Departs Kuwait City at 23:00hrs, arriving in Mumbai at 05:35hrs the next day.

The airline has opened bookings for the new route on its website, www.akasaair.com, and through its Android and iOS apps and online travel agencies. The launch of the daily flights between the two cities is expected to significantly boost passenger and cargo capacity, catering to the steady demand for travel between India and Kuwait, particularly for Indian nationals visiting friends and relatives in Kuwait and for business purposes.

11 million passengers

The airline currently connects 22 domestic cities and five international destinations, including Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kochi, Delhi, Guwahati, Agartala, Pune, Lucknow, Goa, Hyderabad, Varanasi, Bagdogra, Bhubaneswar, Kolkata, Port Blair, Ayodhya, Gwalior, Srinagar, Prayagraj, Gorakhpur, as well as Doha, Jeddah, Riyadh, and Abu Dhabi.
