ALL AFRICA FESTIVAL (AAF) GOING BIGGER WITH MORE AFRICAN ARTISTS
The award-winning All Africa Festival (AAF), the UAE’s largest celebration of Africa’s rich and diverse cultures in all their vibrant expressions and representations, will make its return by debuting in the nation’s capital Abu Dhabi, with a change in dates announced by the organisers today.
In a bid to enhance the guest experience by bringing on more artists from across Africa and the diaspora, the All Africa Festival will now take place from 2-4 February 2024, at Etihad Park on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi.
Congolese French singer, rapper, and songwriter Maître Gims, Canadian Moroccan actress, singer and dancer Nora Fatehi, and Ghanaian Afropop, dancehall and reggae musician Stonebwoy have been announced as headlining acts at the Festival, with more announcements of internationally renowned music icons performing on the AAF stage to follow.
“With the aim to enhance the Festival’s offering as we debut in the UAE capital Abu Dhabi, we are thrilled to be featured as one of the key events on the 2024 Abu Dhabi Events Calendar, taking the decision to move the event from the previously released dates to ensure that we have added time to engage more world-class acts and curate the award-winning music, food and culturally immersive experience the Festival is known for,” said Nina Olatoke, CEO and Co-Founder of the All Africa Festival.
Taking place on the grounds of Etihad Park, located in the heart of Abu Dhabi’s landmark family entertainment destination Yas Island, the All Africa Festival will bring together residents and visitors alike for a 3-day long epic outdoor event. Here, in addition to enjoying the rich vibrant sound for which the continent is known through music, guests can immerse themselves in diverse offerings of pan-African cuisine, catch a glimpse of unique displays of live art and creative installations, explore the colourful flair of African culture through fashion exhibits from UAE based designers and so much more.
The Festival’s line up of performances and activations will be curated to present a mosaic of uniquely curated experiences that pay homage to the spirit of Africa and its people residing on the continent, in the UAE, the region and across all different corners of the world.
Tickets to the All Africa Festival on Yas Island are now available for sale on Platinumlist and Ticketmaster.
