Lufthansa Allegris cabin facility expands to new destinations

With premium seating options
Lufthansa has announced that from March 30, 2025, passengers can book flights with the airline’s luxurious Lufthansa Allegris cabin to additional long-haul destinations.
To elevate the flying experience, travellers can also choose special Allegris seats, including exclusive options for added comfort. The premium cabin will now be available on flights from Munich to San Diego, and New York-Newark will join the line-up from mid-April.
Starting in August 2025, the Allegris cabin will also be available continuously on flights to Charlotte. The popular route to Bengaluru will continue to offer the Allegris experience, providing even more choices for premium passengers.
Travellers who have already booked tickets for these new destinations are in for an upgrade. Lufthansa offers free upgrades to Allegris seats, ensuring even more comfort on their journey. Initially, passengers can experience the new First Class with its private, innovative suites on selected flights to San Francisco, Chicago, San Diego, Shanghai, and Bengaluru.
Heiko Reitz, Chief Customer Officer at Lufthansa Airlines, noted: “I am delighted that we are offering our guests Lufthansa Allegris on more and more routes. For flights to the USA alone, customers can choose between five destinations from Munich. We currently have nine A350-900s with Allegris on board at Lufthansa, six of which already offer our customers the new, highly exclusive First Class. Overall, our new cabin interior is extremely popular with guests – with satisfaction rates in Business Class of well over 90 per cent.”
From March 30, 2025, passengers can enjoy the Lufthansa Allegris experience on flights to the following destinations: San Francisco, Shanghai, Chicago, New York-Newark (from mid-April 2025), San Diego, Charlotte (continuously), and Bengaluru.
In Business Class, the Classic Seat reservation remains free, providing all the advantages of the premium Allegris class. For those seeking even more comfort, passengers can choose from various upgraded seats for an additional charge, including the Business Class Suite, the Extra Space Seat, the Privacy Seat by the window, and the Extra Long Bed with a reclining area of 2.20 metres. Prices for these premium options begin from as low as 100 euros, with the Extra Space Seat starting at 130 euros.
The Business Class Suite offers passengers higher privacy, with taller walls, sliding doors, more personal space, and a large 68 cm monitor. This suite can be reserved in advance starting at 400 euros, allowing passengers to enjoy the ultimate comfort. Economy Class passengers can also enjoy more legroom by reserving a seat for as little as 50 euros.
The Lufthansa First Class suites continue to be highly sought after, and as before, these can be reserved free of charge. For those seeking a more exclusive experience, the Suite Plus can be booked for single use for a surcharge of 1900 euros. This suite offers maximum comfort and the option to travel together with a companion in the same suite. To secure the Suite Plus, First Class guests can make bookings through the First Class Hotline at special rates.
For the most loyal Lufthansa Group frequent flyers, there are exceptional benefits, including choosing up to 80 per cent of Business Class seat options free of charge, depending on their status.
With these additions, Lufthansa is reinforcing its commitment to providing a premium flying experience across an ever-expanding network of global destinations.
