Canon Middle East Honors Exceptional Visual Storytellers from the region at Xposure 2024
Canon Middle East, a leader in digital imaging solutions, recently showcased the future of photography and content creation at the Xposure International Photography Festival 2024 at the Expo Centre in Sharjah. The weeklong event that took place from February 28 to March 5 saw Canon display its cutting-edge imaging solutions catering to photography professionals and enthusiasts.
At the premier photography event, Canon highlighted its latest innovations and showcased the diversity of its product range. Among the products exhibited were Canon’s EOS R Mirrorless range cameras and RF lenses that cater to the advanced needs of professionals. Visitors got to witness the cutting-edge PRO printers and IJ photo printer ranges on display. Canon also exhibited its exclusive range of vlogging kits, aimed at influencers and content creators.
As part of its event engagement, the company hosted Canon Academy workshops, which saw participants discover the latest techniques and trends in photography from seasoned professionals. Spread over three days, the workshops attracted attendees with skill levels ranging from amateur to professional. Led by Canon Ambassadors Naim Chidiac, Mohammad Murad and Jorge Ferrari, the sessions focused on different areas of photography, such as action, portrait and lifestyle, wildlife, sports and event photography.
Canon, a category sponsor at Xposure’s annual ‘Photography Awards,’ actively supported categories such as Junior Photographer, Photojournalism, and Nature and Landscape. Following the jury’s deliberation, Jamal Bazzari was recognized under the Junior Photographer category, taking home the Canon EOS RP Camera. Similarly, Patryk Jaracz, who caught the jury’s attention with their entry in the Photojournalism category, received a Canon EOS R5 Camera. Budi Gunawan secured the top place in the Nature and Landscape category, bagging a Canon EOS R6 Mark II Camera.
