Cloudera Unveils New Data-In-Motion Products

As Kubernetes Operators For Red Hat OpenShift

In a strategic move poised to revolutionise data management in the digital age, Cloudera, renowned for its cutting-edge solutions in enterprise AI, has announced the forthcoming launch of Cloudera Flow Management – Kubernetes Operator and Cloudera Streaming – Kubernetes Operator.

This announcement was made during the Red Hat Summit in Denver, Colorado (May 6 to 9, 2024).

The new groundbreaking offerings empower Cloudera’s customers to deploy Apache NiFi, Apache Kafka, and Apache Flink clusters seamlessly on Kubernetes application platforms, with Red Hat OpenShift at the forefront.

Following the tech preview, Cloudera’s customers can expect to access the Data-in-Motion products as Kubernetes Operators on Red Hat OpenShift, enabling them to harness the power of data streaming with unparalleled ease and efficiency.

H2 2024 Release

The industry is anticipating the release of Cloudera’s Data-in-Motion products as Kubernetes Operators, which will be available in H2 2024.

The integration of Cloudera’s Data-in-Motion products with Kubernetes Operators ushers in a new era of efficiency and agility in data streaming and delivery of real-time insights.

By harnessing the robust infrastructure of Red Hat OpenShift, renowned for its hybrid cloud capabilities powered by Kubernetes, Cloudera’s customers can now enjoy auto-scaling, optimised resource utilisation, and simplified setup and operations.

This strategic move underscores Cloudera’s commitment to providing the connective tissue between enterprise data assets, enabling seamless data flow and analytics integration across diverse systems and applications.
