DSBK Racing launches 2024-2025 Middle East Championship
Event held at Dubai Autodrome
The roar of engines and the thrill of high-speed action marked the DSBK Middle East Championship 2024-2025 launch at Dubai Autodrome on October 26, 2024.
The highly anticipated event provided racing fans and families with an exhilarating day, showcasing elite riders from around the globe. Notable figures, including Mahir Abdulkarim Julfar, EVP of Dubai World Trade Centre, and social media star Abdu Rozik, contributed to the vibrant atmosphere, enhancing the excitement for attendees.
The event featured a mix of intense competition, family-friendly activities, and complimentary entry and parking, creating an inclusive environment for all. The day included warm-up and qualifying sessions, culminating in two thrilling 12-lap races, which took place at noon and again at 2:50pm. Twenty racers of diverse nationalities battled it out on the track, captivating the crowd with skill and speed.
Beyond the races, spectators enjoyed live DJ performances, a dedicated play zone for children, various food truck offerings, and a fan zone where they could interact with racers and influencers. The atmosphere was excitement and community, underscoring the event’s appeal to racing enthusiasts and families.
As the UAE’s premier superbike championship, DSBK Racing has solidified its status as a leader in the Middle East’s motorsports sector.
Five rounds
The championship schedule includes five rounds, with Round 2 set for November 10, 2024, at Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi.
The founders of DSBK Racing, Nasir Syed and Abdul Samee, expressed their commitment to making the championship a cornerstone of motorsport culture in the Middle East region. They said: “The DSBK Middle East Championship is more than a race. It’s a platform for promoting responsible riding and advancing motorsport culture in the region. We aim to make DSBK Racing a fixture on the Middle East motorsports calendar.”
They stressed that the DSBK Middle East Championship promotes responsible riding while enhancing the motorsport experience for all.
In a significant development, DSBK Racing has announced the establishment of the DSBK Racing Academy, the UAE’s first superbike training facility dedicated to nurturing the next generation of racing talent. Additionally, the organisation focuses on community engagement, striving to create a passionate community of riders, families, and motorsport fans, offering experiences beyond mere racing.
With Round 2 fast approaching, motorsport and superbike racing fans are eager for what lies ahead, ensuring that the 2024-2025 season will be filled with action and excitement at every turn.
