Dubai Air Navigation Services Wins Digital Role Award
Company Honoured For Leveraging Technology
Dubai Air Navigation Services (DANS), the provider of air navigation services at four airports in the UAE, has been honoured with a ‘Best Entity in Digital Enablement Award’.
DANS clinched the award for its efforts in leveraging technology to enhance safety and efficiency in air navigation services. The organisation’s commitment to adding value to the aviation sector, ensuring resilience, and maintaining high business continuity and uninterrupted services was acknowledged and celebrated.
The accolade, a testament to the company’s commitment to leveraging technology for enhanced safety and efficiency, was conferred during a Dubai Government Excellence Programme (DGEP) awards ceremony at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, presided over the ceremony.
Also in attendance were HH Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council; HH Sheikh Maktoum Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance; and HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman of Dubai Airports, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline & Group, and Chairman of DANS.
Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed accepted the award from HH Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum on behalf of DANS.
Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed said: “The award underscores Dubai’s firm belief in fostering excellence and innovation within the government sector. It also recognises that DANS’s roles and achievements are key to the aviation sector and the Dubai Plan.”
Under the leadership of Ibrahim Ahli, Acting CEO of DANS, the company has witnessed significant improvement in overall results.
“This is the second cycle in which DANS has participated in the DGEP awards. The first participation was in 2021 when DANS was promoted to Excellence. We dedicate ourselves to continuing our efforts to excel our services further,” said Ahli.
