From April 10-12, 2024, Dubai’s bustling transport network witnessed a surge in ridership across multiple platforms. The breakdown of these figures reveals the extent of Dubai’s reliance on its diverse public transportation infrastructure:
Dubai Metro: The Red and Green Lines of the Dubai Metro emerged as primary conduits for over 2.32 million passengers during the Eid Al Fitr holiday. Serving as vital arteries connecting critical destinations within the city, the Dubai Metro network continues to set benchmarks in efficiency and accessibility.
Dubai Tram: Complementing the Dubai Metro’s reach, the Dubai Tram network recorded a figure of 115,00 riders during the Eid Al Fitr holiday period.
