Emirates A350 to fly to Kuwait and Bahrain from January 8 onwards

With daily flights schedule

Dubai-based Emirates is advancing the deployment of its Airbus A350 aircraft from Dubai to Kuwait and Bahrain, with services set to begin on January 8, 2024. These will be the second and third destinations to be served by the airline’s newest aircraft, showcasing the A350’s premium features and cutting-edge design.

Emirates will operate its A350 on specific routes to both countries. The A350 will operate flights to Kuwait as EK853 and EK854. Flight EK853 departs Dubai at 01:25 hrs and arrives in Kuwait at 02:15 hrs, while the return flight EK854 leaves Kuwait at 03:40 hrs and arrives in Dubai at 06:25 hrs.

In Bahrain, the A350 will service two daily flights: EK837/838 and EK839/840. Flight EK837 departs Dubai at 08:20 hrs and arrives in Bahrain at 08:40 hrs. The return leg, EK838, departs Bahrain at 10:00 hrs and arrives in Dubai at 12:15 hrs. EK839 departs Dubai at 16:00 hrs and lands in Bahrain at 16:20 hrs, with the return EK840 leaving Bahrain at 17:45 hrs and reaching Dubai at 20:00 hrs.

The three-class aircraft features 312 seats, including 32 next-generation Business Class lie-flat seats arranged in a 1-2-1 layout, 21 Premium Economy seats in a 2-3-2 configuration, and 259 Economy Class seats in a 3-3-3 arrangement. This design ensures more space and comfort across all cabins. The A350 also boasts high ceilings, wider aisles, faster Wi-Fi, and the latest ice inflight entertainment system, which offers a cinematic experience and a wide array of on-demand media and channels.

Emirates has been serving Kuwait since 1989, operating 29 weekly flights. The new A350 service to Kuwait marks the second aircraft type to feature the airline’s Premium Economy cabin and newly configured Business Class seats, following a Boeing 777 retrofitted in October 2024.

Airbus’ latest A350 aircraft is the A350-1000, designed for long-range flights and optimal passenger comfort. It is ideal for intercontinental travel with a range of up to 8,000 nautical miles.

Powered by the Rolls-Royce Trent XWB engines, it is one of the most fuel-efficient aircraft, offering a 25% reduction in fuel consumption and CO2 emissions compared to earlier models. This model is also noted for its spacious and quiet cabin, featuring advanced materials like carbon fibre for better fuel efficiency and aerodynamics.
