Emirates opens Karachi experiential travel store
Including self-service kiosks
Dubai-based Emirates Airlines has launched its first-ever experiential travel store in Karachi, Pakistan, marking a significant milestone as its first such concept in West Asia.
Situated in the Sky Tower within Karachi Towers on Abdul Sattar Edhi Avenue, Clifton, the 183-square-metre store offers an innovative blend of technology-driven experiences alongside customer support from dedicated teams.
The store is designed to provide personalised travel experiences, allowing the airline’s customers to explore the latest inflight products and destinations served by Emirates. Staff members are on hand to assist with booking flights, managing preferences, and providing tailored travel advice.
The store also features self-service kiosks, a selfie mirror with backdrops of popular Emirates destinations, and a curated selection of Emirates-branded merchandise, making it a one-stop shop for travellers seeking inspiration and convenience.
Additionally, customer service counters assist with flight reservations, ticketing, and enquiries about the Emirates and Skywards loyalty programmes. Experienced travel consultants are available to offer expert advice, ensuring a seamless experience for every visitor.
The store was opened by Essa Sulaiman Ahmad, Emirates’ Senior Vice President for Commercial Operations, West Asia and the Indian Ocean. Guests, including Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salem Al-Zaabi, Ambassador of the UAE to Pakistan, and Bakheet Ateeq Al-Rumaithi, Consul General of the UAE in Karachi, attended the inauguration, reaffirming the strong diplomatic ties between the UAE and Pakistan.
Essa Sulaiman Ahmad highlighted the importance of the airline’s new retail concept in Karachi: “The Emirates Travel Store is a unique space where travellers can discover the full range of our products and services, and we are proud to introduce this immersive experience in Karachi.
“This innovative store reflects our commitment to elevating the customer journey, giving them a glimpse into the Emirates experience and our extensive network of exciting destinations. We also offer personalised service and exceptional support from our teams.”
Ahmad also expressed the airline’s strong connection to Karachi, noting that the city was one of Emirates’ first destinations when the airline began operations in 1985. The store’s opening reinforces Emirates’ long-standing commitment to Pakistan, which it serves through five gateways.
