Erth Abu Dhabi to Host the 2025 Zayed Sports Tournament Juniors

Erth Abu Dhabi is set to host the highly anticipated, Zayed Sports Tournament 2025 Juniors, an iconic event dedicated to fostering unity, excellence, and youth athleticism during the Holy Month of Ramadan. Organized in partnership with the Supreme Council for Motherhood & Childhood and Abu Dhabi Sports Council, the tournament will take place from March 2 to March 16, 2025, bringing together the UAE’s most promising young athletes.

A longstanding tradition in the UAE’s sports scene, the Zayed Sports Tournament honors the legacy of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who believed in the power of sports to bring people together. Since it began in 1997, the tournament has welcomed 42,453 athletes, 69,620 visitors, and 716 teams, with total prizes worth AED 28,945,700.

This year’s Zayed Sports Tournament 2025 Juniors at Erth Abu Dhabi will feature exciting competitions in football (Under 10 & Under 12), jiu-jitsu, chess, gymnastics, and swimming, with a total prize pool of AED 104,600, including AED 15,000 each for Football U10 and U12, AED 18,000 for Swimming, AED 20,000 for Chess, AED 28,200 for Jiu-Jitsu, and AED 8,400 for Gymnastics, along with special prizes of AED 12,000 for the Best Gym and AED 3,000 for the Best Coach in Jiu-Jitsu. All winners will be awarded trophies and all participants will be given a tournament pack including a t-shirt and participation medal.

We look forward to welcoming young talents and their families for a memorable experience,” said Lieutenant General (Rtd) Mohamed Helal Alkaabi, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Zayed Sports Tournament, Erth Abu Dhabi.
