XQuarry Off-Road & Adventure Park in Sharjah emirate in the United Arab Emirates offers outdoor enthusiasts the opportunity to enjoy an authentic Emirati adventure involving an overnight stay in a heritage tent and a 4×4 off-road driving experience.
Nestled within the picturesque desert landscape in Mleiha, Sharjah, the privately run desert park offers exceptional sunset vistas and a unique glimpse into traditional UAE heritage and culture.
The desert park’s newly launched ‘Camp and Drive’ two-day/one-night activity is currently available at a discounted price of AED649, reduced from AED799.
The heritage tents are suitable for a maximum of three people, with the option to add extra beds. The spacious campsite features a green boundary around it. There are six campsites placed next to each other.
What is in the AED649 price
The AED649 fee includes two days of general admission to the desert park’s facilities, including hiking trails for up to three adults, including off-roading activity and an off-road obstacle course. Guide drives are available at extra cost.
The ‘Camp and Drive’ programme includes a 20x10m private camping area surrounded by landscaping, a 4×4 m sunshade, a BBQ setup with charcoal, a fire starter, and matches, outdoor seating incorporating two benches and a table, a traditional Bedouin-type tent (5.5×3.5m) with carpet flooring, a Super king-size bed (180x200cm) with a medical mattress, bedsheets, pillows, and fleece blankets, and additional Arabic seating doubling as an extra bed.
Disposable plates and cutlery for meals are also provided, along with a metal kettle for brewing coffee or tea, a gas cooker, metal cups, five litres of drinking water, a 12V solar power bank equipped with a USB charger, a garbage bin, a fire pit with firewood, toilets, and showers.
Campers are urged to carry their sleeping bag or blanket for added comfort, F&B, and towels.
Check-in begins at 3pm, and check-out is by 12 noon the following day. Park access is granted for both days of stay. While pets can join their owners, they must be leashed at all times, and owners are responsible for cleaning up after them.
