Extreme H series set to launch in 2025

Featuring hydrogen-powered racing

Extreme H, a groundbreaking initiative in motorsport focusing on developing hydrogen-powered race cars, will debut in 2025.

The series will feature the Pioneer 25, a cutting-edge vehicle designed to showcase the potential of hydrogen fuel cell technology in high-performance racing.

The Pioneer 25 is engineered to deliver an unparalleled racing experience and boasts impressive specifications. It is powered by a hydrogen fuel cell, providing a peak power output of 400 kW (550 bhp) and a top speed of 200 km/h.

With a weight of 2,200 kg and dimensions of 4.8 metres in length, 1.9 metres in width, and 2.4 metres in height, the Pioneer 25 is a robust yet agile competitor on the track. The car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds, highlighting its performance capabilities.

At the heart of the Pioneer 25 is Symbio hydrogen fuel cell technology, which uses a 2 kg hydrogen tank pressurised to 700 bar. This technology not only powers the car but also demonstrates the sustainability and efficiency of hydrogen as a clean energy source for the future of motorsports. The Pioneer 25 also has FIA-mandated impact structures, ensuring safety during high-speed races.
