F1 ACADEMY CHAMPION ABBI PULLING TAKES RECORD EIGHTH WIN OF THE SEASON AHEAD OF UAE’S HAMDA AL QUBAISI
F1 Academy champion Abbi Pulling secured a record-breaking eighth victory of the season after triumphing in Race One, with the UAE’s Hamda Al Qubaisi finishing second.
The British Alpine driver produced an impressive performance behind the wheel at Yas Marina Circuit to just edge out Red Bull’s Al Qubaisi, while Mercedes’ Doriane Pin took P3.
It was Hamda’s best result, beating her third place spot in Barcelona, while her sister, Amna, finished eighth on Saturday.
The drivers will return to the track later this evening for Race Two at 8:15pm
