Gastech 2024 Announces Key Conferences’ Agenda

Gastech 2024, the premier platform for natural gas, LNG, hydrogen, and climate technologies, has announced its agenda for this year’s Strategic, Climatetech, and Hydrogen Conferences.
Gastech Exhibition & Conference 2024 will be held from September 17 to 20 in Houston, Texas, United States. The event aims to shape the future of energy worldwide.
Over 500 global leaders, including CEOs and energy ministers, will converge at the event to chart the energy sector’s evolution course. Discussions at the Strategic Conference component will focus on pioneering an equitable energy transition, leveraging natural gas, mobilising capital for advanced energy systems, and enhancing hydrogen’s role.
The Climatetech Conference will accelerate strategies to decarbonise the energy value chain, showcase cutting-edge technologies, and foster cross-industry partnerships.
At the same time, the Hydrogen Conference will address scaling challenges and opportunities within the energy mix by highlighting hydrogen as a low-carbon solution.
Gastech 2024 coincides with global efforts to limit warming to 1.5°C, emphasising the urgent need for a transformative shift in energy consumption and production practices. The conference will build on COP28 outcomes, reaffirming commitments to sustainable energy and economic growth.
Mark Menezes, President & CEO of the United States Energy Association, highlighted Gastech’s role in driving innovative energy solutions. At the same time, Paul Everingham from ANGEA underscored its importance in fostering global dialogue on energy solutions.
The focal point of Gastech 2024, organised by dmg events, will be the discussions on sustainable energy solutions. With a concerted global effort towards achieving carbon neutrality by 2050, participants will engage in robust debates and showcase cutting-edge technologies to reduce carbon footprints across the energy value chain.
Renewable energy sources, hydrogen technologies, and advancements in natural gas extraction and utilisation will take centre stage, highlighting a shift towards cleaner and more efficient energy practices.
Keynote speakers will stress the importance of international cooperation in addressing energy challenges and underline the significance of partnerships in driving innovation and ensuring energy security.
Discussions will also delve into regulatory frameworks and investment opportunities in emerging markets, reflecting a dynamic landscape shaped by evolving geopolitical and environmental considerations.
The exhibition floor of Gastech 2024 will feature demonstrations of next-generation technologies, from carbon capture and storage solutions to AI-driven predictive maintenance in energy infrastructure.
