Gibson strums up high notes at NAMM 2025
With new releases and exclusive experiences
Gibson, the legendary American instrument brand that has defined the sound of countless generations and genres, is gearing up for its highly anticipated return to NAMM 2025.
The iconic brand, renowned for crafting guitars that inspire artists from all walks of life, will debut a select portion of its new 2025 product line during the NAMM Global Media Day. In addition to showcasing its latest instruments, Gibson will introduce an exclusive, invite-only Gibson Speakeasy experience tailored for dealer partners, media, and creators alike.
Gibson’s Chief Marketing Officer Beth Heidt highlighted the brand’s ongoing commitment to fostering the global music community.
“Gibson and NAMM share a mission to improve lives through music and strengthen the broader music instruments industry. At NAMM, we come together with leaders, retailers, influencers, and artists to learn about the latest trends while supporting professional development, music education, and nonprofits through the arts,” Heidt remarked. “This year, we are particularly proud to partner with the Los Angeles Wildfire Relief programme to support our community of artists and music makers.”
As part of its ongoing support for the music industry, Gibson’s presence at NAMM 2025 includes various live events and informative panels. These discussions are designed to inspire, educate, and provide valuable insights for music industry professionals and enthusiasts.
NAMM 2025 panel line-up
The Gibson team leads several key panels throughout the week, beginning with NAMM Global Media Day on Wednesday, January 22. Mat Koehler, Gibson’s Vice President of Product, will take the stage at 4:00 PM at the Level 3 Ballroom in the Anaheim Convention Center. Later that day, Deston Bennett of KRK Audio Relations will present “Innovations in Music: Tools and Techniques for Modern Studios” from 11:20 AM to 12:30 PM at the TEC Tracks/Hilton Avila.
On Thursday, January 23, Beth Heidt will present two notable sessions. From 8:30 to 9:30 AM, she will join John Mlynczak to discuss “Industry Insights: Stability and Unity” at the Hilton Pacific Ballroom (Level 2). Later, at 3:00 PM, she will moderate the “Career Journeys – NAMM Young Professionals” session at the NAMM Idea Center Stage.
On Friday, January 24, NAMM attendees can look forward to several exciting talks. Rick Beato and Tim Pierce, joined by guitarist Mateus Asato, will discuss the “Evolution of Content and the Industry” from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the Hilton California Ballroom A (Level 2, Green Room). Following that, Gibson’s Sterling Doak, Senior Director of Marketing, and Krista Gilley, Director of Brands, will address “Building a Brand in the Music Industry: Is Brand Dead?” from 1:00 to 1:30 PM at the NAMM U/NAMM Idea Center Stage.
Saturday, January 25, will feature a panel on the intersection of music and faith. Andrew Ladner, Director of Brands at MESA/Boogie and Gibson Amplifiers, will lead the “MESA/Boogie, Gibson Amplifiers and More: House of Worship Panel” at 10:30 AM in the TEC Track, Hilton Laguna Room. Finally, Gibson’s Beth Heidt will be honoured at the She Rocks Awards at 6:00 PM in the Hilton Pacific Ballroom (Level 2), where she will receive the Brilliance Award in Leadership.
