This new cooperation focuses on providing training and practical skills development opportunities with companies operating in various fields, which will contribute to breaking the barrier between the labour market and the academic environment at universities, or ‘learning beyond the walls of the university ‘, as mentioned by the Vice President of the Republic of Maldives, who was present at the signing ceremony.”
He added: “Our endeavour to provide training opportunities for our youth is part of our responsibility and duty to society, as bridging the gap between academic knowledge and the skills required in the labour market benefits all stakeholders as trainees gain employment opportunities to start their careers in their field of specialisation, and businesses find the necessary and qualified skills to continue their growth and development.”
