International Women’s Day- Women Entrepreneurs in F&B Space

Eti Bhasin, a first-generation 28-year-old Hotelier & Restauranteur, found her passion for hospitality while pursuing a bachelor’s in chemical engineering. Her journey began with a small F&B family venture in the vibrant streets of Karama, Dhaba Lane (then known as Khan Dhaba). With a Master’s in Global Hospitality Business Degree from renowned universities across three continents, including Ecole Hotelier De Lausaane (Switzerland), Hong Kong Polytechnic University (Hong Kong), and Conrad Hilton University (Texas, USA), Eti gained insights into operating hotel ventures and global hospitality connections.

Having expanded their restaurant portfolio to four branches in the UAE and opened two hotels with over 380 keys in Dubai’s old heritage hub within five years, Eti’s future aspiration for her brand, Majestic Hotels, is to become a leading 4-star premium hotel brand in the UAE. She envisions offering convenient locations, comfortable stays, top-notch entertainment venues, and rejuvenation centers. With Majestic City Retreat Hotel established as a premium property in Old Dubai for over 12 years and Majestic Premier Hotel gaining popularity, Eti aims to expand the Majestic brand to over 10 properties within the GCC market and globally.

Dhaba Lane

Dhaba Lane, founded in 2017, provides a homely experience for those craving Northern Indian food in Dubai. Eti’s vision for the brand is to reach a global audience while maintaining its popularity in the Middle Eastern market. With four branches and a high retention rate of about 80%, Dhaba Lane caters predominantly to Southeast Asians, offering a diverse menu inspired by Indian roadside shacks.

Majestic Hotels

Majestic Hotels currently includes Majestic City Retreat Hotel (MCRH) and Majestic Premier Hotel (MPH), offering spacious accommodations with skyline views of Burj Khalifa and Old Dubai. Meanwhile, Dhaba Lane, with its modern take on Dhaba-style delicacies, has become a quintessential destination for Indian flavors in Dubai, catering to food lovers with traditional Indian dishes infused with contemporary twists.
