Kids’ Dine and Play launches at MINT in City Walk
As MINT restaurant and café in City Walk celebrates its first anniversary, the family-friendly restaurant has debuted an all-new Kids’ Dine and Play area to further enhance the experience for its little guests.
Budding chefs are now welcome to grab a seat at the brand-new pizza counter, where kids can have fun playing with pizza dough, using cut-out shapes, and rolling pins. Equipped with children’s aprons and chef’s hats, the kids are sure to look and feel the part.
In the corner of the restaurant, MINT has created a new purpose-built space dedicated to children. Set with mini tables and chairs, the new dining and play area has plenty of activities for keeping tiny hands busy. Kids will find games, books and colouring activities available, all housed in a loft-style, netted play area.
The city’s newest family-friendly spot offers a delicious kids’ food and beverage menu – specially curated to tempt even the fussiest of eaters for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Star rise and shine dishes serving from 9am include options like scrambled eggs with sourdough toast, oat porridge with fresh mango, croissants with butter and fruit jam accompanied by fresh fruits and yoghurt, plus more. On the menu lunch and dinner, find options including pizza, pasta, risotto, burgers, and sandwiches, as well as chicken (breaded or grilled). MINT also has a generous range of refreshing drinks for children, including fruity sorbet shakes, fresh fruit juices, and warming hug-in-a-mug sips like hot chocolate and babyccinos.
Not forgetting sweet treats, the menu features a mouthwatering selection of desserts like waffles with Nutella, coconut panna cotta with fresh passion fruit, raspberry brownies, ice creams and sorbets.
To celebrate the launch of MINT’s kids’ dine and play area, as well as the outlet’s first anniversary, the restaurant will be hosting three fun-filled weekends for the whole family on May 18 – 19, May 25 – 26, and June 1 – 2, where families can enjoy ‘Happy Family Weekends’ with 30% off the menu for the whole weekend, and children will be entertained with the new activities, as well as face painting.
As part of the first anniversary celebration, there will also be giveaway vouchers to use at MINT that invite guests to buy one pizza, get one free. As well as a social media competition running on these dates, where customers can win pizza for the whole year by posting a creative photo with their pizzas.
During the Happy Family Weekends, face painting will take place from 12pm – 8pm on Saturday and 11am – 7pm on Sunday. Pizza making will take place from 12pm – 10pm on Saturday and Sunday. All children will receive a special gift and balloon to take home.
Kids’ Dine and Play is now open at MINT’s City Walk location and welcoming families.
