The Dubai Metro network, owned by Dubai’s Roads & Transport Authority and inaugurated on September 9, 2009, is the longest fully automated rail system globally. It spans 74.7km and has two main lines: the Red and Green. This advanced urban transit system is the backbone of Dubai City’s transportation network, providing an efficient and affordable travel option for residents and visitors alike.

Operating without drivers, the metro is known for its punctuality and cleanliness, making it a reliable choice for daily commuters. The system’s construction has significantly contributed to the city’s economic growth and tourism, showcasing Dubai’s commitment to modern infrastructure.

Passengers can enjoy various amenities, including spacious carriages and easy payment options. The Dubai Metro continues to evolve, with expansions planned to enhance connectivity across the city further, ensuring it remains an integral part of Dubai City’s vibrant urban landscape.
