Michelin Pilot Sport Range Powers Record-Breaking Lap at Yas Marina Circuit
On March 25th, 2025, Michelin Pilot Sport All-Season 4 tyres powered a record-breaking lap at Yas Marina Circuit, delivering the grip, stability, and responsiveness needed for high-performance driving. Fitted on the Range Rover Sport SV, the tyres enabled Emirati racing driver Saeed Al Mheiri to set a 2:20.405-minute lap time, making it the fastest SUV and four-door production vehicle to complete a timed lap at the circuit. Specifically developed to optimise both high-speed handling and everyday usability, the Michelin Pilot Sport range delivers an unmatched balance of precision, control, and comfort. The Michelin Pilot Sport S 5 tyre, homologated for the Range Rover Sport, will soon be available to customers in the MENA region.
