Nissan to host world premiere of 2025 Nissan Patrol in Abu Dhabi
Y63 reveal is on September 3, 2024
Nissan Motor Corporation will host the world premiere of the all-new 2025 Nissan Patrol (Y63) in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, on September 3, 2024. This will be the seventh-generation reveal of the iconic 4×4 SUV.
Featuring a sleek design with interlinked taillights and advanced technology, the Patrol is one of Nissan’s best-selling 4×4 models in the Middle East, especially in the oil-rich Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. Thanks to its 5.6-litre petrol V8 engine, seven-speed automatic transmission, and all-mode 4×4 system, it is a reliable and affordable option.
The 2024 model featured a new-generation V8 engine that delivered 298kW of power and 560Nm of torque, with 90% of torque available from just 1600rpm.
Given its modest ground clearance, large wheels, and low-profile tyres, the Y63 Nissan Patrol is designed primarily for on-road performance, similar to the Toyota Land Cruiser Sahara ZX.
The Y63 Nissan Patrol features a full-width lighting signature, a prominent front grille, and sunken headlights. It also features pixel-style daytime running lights similar to the Infiniti QX80. At the rear, the all-new Patrol showcases vertically stacked LED taillights connected by a full-width light strip. Other notable features include a square tailgate, integrated roof spoiler, and pronounced bumpers.
‘Feel Patrol’ campaign
Ahead of the global launch of the new Patrol in Abu Dhabi, Nissan is promoting its ‘Feel Patrol’ video series—a six-part YouTube presentation celebrating the Patrol’s legacy while offering a first glimpse at its seventh generation. The series, hosted by Nissan executives, marks Nissan’s inaugural preview of the new Patrol, merging its storied past with futuristic innovation.
The series features a ‘Part by Part’ segment each week, offering a sneak peek at the new Patrol before its global launch. A standout aspect of the ‘Feel Patrol’ series is its focus on its impact and popularity as an SUV suitable for various on- and off-road conditions globally. A dedicated episode in the series highlights the Patrol’s legacy in the GCC region.
Thierry Sabbagh, Divisional Vice President, President Middle East, KSA at Nissan INFINITI, stated: “The Patrol has been a key part of our lineup in the Middle East for decades, and we are thrilled to share the ‘Feel Patrol’ series with our customers and fans.
“This series celebrates the Patrol’s remarkable history and an exclusive look at the new Patrol as we prepare for its global unveiling. We look forward to engaging audiences worldwide with the stories and innovations that make this series special,” Sabbagh added.
